Revolution
Play Cover Illustration Design / Freelance
Revolution is a play set on Puff's 26th birthday, and she's celebrating it in the alley behind her hair salon. Joined by best friend and fellow stylist Jame and the unexpected company of Georgia, a "dress for less" employee, this birthday hangout takes a turn.

The play takes place in the service alley behind a hair salon called Revolution Cuts, located in a small town in Illinois. It features three characters—Jame, Puff, and Georgia—who explore themes of friendship, anxiety, existential musings, and personal struggles as they celebrate Puff's birthday in a casual and improvisational manner. Their banter shifts from lighthearted discussions about snacks and tattoos to deeper reflections on life's uncertainties, relationships, and personal identity.

The alley represents a liminal space where characters can escape societal constraints and bond freely. It’s both a physical and metaphorical safe zone for self-expression.
The alley setting and makeshift birthday party underscore finding joy and meaning in simple, unpretentious celebrations. The abundance of snacks, drinks, and nostalgic items (like chocolates) symbolize comfort and connections to personal history.
A bowling ball with one finger hole doubles as a spark of light, symbolizing Georgia’s chaotic energy and hidden truths.
